Though vacationer Nick may have booked a single room during his stay at the Hotel Riu Republica in the Dominican Republic, he discovered he apparently had not just a roommate but a bed-mate, waking up to find a complete stranger dozing off under his covers.

“Someone came in my room and slept in my bed when I was in my bed!” Nick — better known by his username @meganntheesta1lion — exclaimed in his now-viral clip. After kicking out his apparently assigned bed-mate — “I had to tell him to f—king get out and leave!” he yelled — he took his strange issue to management.
Hotel higher-ups, however, had little sympathy for their guest, alleging that Nick had visited the “wrong room” before accusing him of leaving his door unlocked.
“He said ‘there’s nothing I can do for you, I can’t compensate you,’” he recalled of his unfruitful discussion with the manager.
But even as Nick disputes the hotel charge with his credit card, there’s still a very important lesson to be learned from his uncomfortable ordeal. paraphrase commenter tysongurney189, morning after regrets are a whole lot worse after going home alone.
